In addition to dedicating a well in memory of the McCombs, a second well has been drilled and dedicated in memory of the Charba family. The tragic Wimberley, Texas floods on the Blanco River in May 2015 also claimed the lives of Ralph and Sue Carey, and Randy, Michelle, and Will Charba.

The Mellamaru village near Vijayawada in the state of Andhra Pradesh now benefits from this gracious gift. A permanent plaque memorializes the family. 

Mark Brister Ministries is pleased to share the successful drilling and dedication of a special water well in the Mandadam village about fifteen miles from Vijayawada in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The well fulfills a long awaited dream of a fresh water well to over 2000 villagers who have not had water for twenty-five years. The villagers dedicated this well in memory and honor of the McComb’s family. Laura, Leighton, and Andrew McComb drowned in the tragic Wimberley, Texas floods in May, 2015.
